An unnamed house, where things of every possibility live.
Momowoo is how 某某屋 sounds in English. We make ceramic objects with a definite shape and no stated purpose. The person who takes one home decides what it is.
That is why we call them adopters rather than buyers, and why every piece has a name instead of a product code.

形状是确定的，用途是开放的。
Every piece is sure of its shape and silent about its use. We never tell you what it’s for, and our listings never will.
A family is a question.
每个家族，都是一个问题。
Pieces are grouped by the question they ask, not by what they do. Each piece in a family is a different individual asking it. The first family asks: Can I be a whale?
Named, not numbered.
有名字，没有编号。
Every piece leaves with its name, its question and its maker’s name. When it has become something, we ask you to tell us what.

Amber trained in ceramics in Jingdezhen, China’s porcelain capital. Today she builds every piece by hand in a small home studio in Massachusetts, from the first lump of clay to the question carved into its side.

A house has room for more than one pair of hands.
一间屋子，容得下不止一双手。
Today every piece is made by Amber. In time, 某某屋 will take in work from independent ceramicists whose pieces answer one of our questions, including makers in Jingdezhen.
Every piece will always carry its maker’s name. Momowoo is the house and the storyteller; the hands belong to the makers.
